| Supplier
Identification
We have a comprehensive list of potential suppliers, and
from this list can identify suppliers that are capable of manufacturing
the items that you require. Our comprehensive list is derived from
our years of experience and relationships with industry experts.
The supplier list contains full contact details of each supplier
that may be considered for evaluation and can be used to obtain
many qualified quotations.
Request for Information Management
Upon our review of the supplier list, we rank the suppliers
based on your needs. We also provide additional details about the
suppliers that may be relevant so that we can make the most informed
decision possible.
Confidentiality agreements
Some of our clients would like to keep their information, especially
intellectual property such as trade secrets, confidential. This
is also true with respect to design drawings and anything relating
to pending patent applications or patents issued outside of China.
Once we have determined which suppliers are able to meet your needs,
we prepare a confidentiality agreement which the supplier must sign
before proceeding to negotiate further, thus insuring that sensitive
information is not passed on to third parties.
Factory inspections
We have conducted and continue to conduct on site factory inspections
of a wide range of suppliers, and will inspect the facilities of
all potential suppliers identified from our list or otherwise deemed
able to meet your needs. We try to determine the overall quality
of the manufacturing capabilities of each supplier. We then rank
the suppliers in terms of overall quality and reliability. During
the factory inspection, we also review the product specifications
and drawings directly with the supplier to address any questions
that they may have and make sure we are all on the same page. By
providing this extra level of communication, we get an accurate
quote and reduce last minute modifications to the quote. The questions
submitted by your team or the suppliers are either answered by Diversitech
or are returned to your team for clarification and further discussion.
RFQ (Request for Quotation) management
Upon completion of the factory inspections, we issue an RFQ package
to the prospective suppliers for quotation on your product. The
RFQ is either designed by us, or we can use one that has been designed
by you.
We manage the discussion to make sure the process of delivering
information to you is efficiently managed so that we obtain a useful
quote that can be compared, supplier to supplier.
Follow up factory visits
Prior to entering the negotiating phase, some of our clients would
like to visit the best 3 to 5 suppliers that we have identified.
We encourage such visits and are happy to accompany you on these
visits.
Factory and supplier audits
Some of our customers request additional information or a more detailed
factory audit before making a decision on a supplier that we have
identified. Typical areas of further inquiry include production
management, quality management system, human rights compliance,
business licenses, business ethics, and historical financials. Depending
on the level of detail, this audit can take at least 3 days to complete.
Negotiating and contracting
The Diversitech staff are experts at negotiating the best deals
on behalf of our clients as well as writing detailed and easily
understood purchasing contracts. We focus on this activity daily
and understand the specific requirements and market rates in China
as they relate to your specific destination or market. We also have
agents in the U.S. and Europe who can examine these contracts to
take into consideration any potential issues with respect to these
geographic areas.
All of the above services include continuous feedback and constant
communication relating to the progress of the project. Upon conclusion,
you will receive a comprehensive report including all details, company
brochures, and photos taken at the inspection location.
